Home Ed Art & Craft Workshops
This half term we are running a range of art and craft workshops for the home education community. Workshops last for two hours - some children may finish some activities faster and are welcome to stay and socialise. Details of each workshop are below with example photos to come.
June 6th - Embroidered photos. You will need to send us a photo that will then be printed in black and white on to fabric. Children will then be able to embellish their photo with embroidery for example adding flowers or a hat! This workshop is with Anna. £15 per person with all materials provided. Suitable for children who have some experience with hand sewing.
June 20th - Dried Flower Jars. Use decopage glue and dried flowers to create beautiful jars perfect for tealight candles. Choose from a large jar or up to three small jars. £12 per person and suitable for all ages. This workshop is with Katie.
June 26th - Cardboard Cacti & Flowers. Use cardboard, paint, pens and scissors to create fabulous 3D cacti and flowers. Suitable for all ages, £8 per child. This workshop is with Anna.
July 4th - Art Treasure Hunt. £8 per child. This workshop is with Lisa.
July 11th - Fused Glass Workshop. Children can design and create a fused glass suncatcher. These will be left with us to fire in the kiln. We have allowed two hours for this workshop but some children will finish sooner. Children 10+ can do this workshop on their own but younger children will need an adults to help them. This workshop is with Lisa. £15 per child/suncatcher.
July 18th - Shrink Plastic. Create jewellery, keyrings and more from shrink plastic. Use sharpies, pencils and acrylic paint pens for your designs. £8 per child. Suitable for all ages.
