Summer Holiday Drop in and Play

For toddlers, preschool and foundation stage children and their parents/carers. Join us for free play through the day on a Wednesday through the summer holidays. There will be painting, a sensory tray with different activities each week, plus lots of toys and games to play with in our events room and snug. £3 per child to come and play and stay for as long as you’d like. Free for pre-walkers. Refreshments available in the shop too!

This is an unstructured session - the activities and toys are set out in advance and you are free to explore and take part as you wish. We will whenever possible end with some songs or stories for approx the last 15mins.

Babies in arms who are younger siblings of a child attending the group do not need their own place booking.

On these days children will use a range of arts and crafts techniques and medium to create a variety of pieces. We will also have board games available for those that would like to take a break from the arts and crafts.

The two hour sessions are generally suitable for ages 4+ though we ask for an adult to stay for ages 4 - 6. Children ages 7+ can be left with us and may also stay over the lunch break. In this case please send them with a packed lunch, water and snacks. We have refreshments such as squash, crisps, cookies, and cakes available in the shop so your child may wish to bring some spending money.

If your child has younger siblings you are welcome to bring them and play in our snug during the workshops.
