Silly Beetle Drive

A fun social event for the local home education community. This is aimed at tweens and teens. ages approx 10+.

A silly beetle drive is based on the build a beetle game. Participants work in pairs to build their beetles. After each round the winning pairs move round and the partners change. ‘Silly’ prizes are also given to the winning pairs. During this event we will play for around 40mins, have a break where the tuck shop will be open and then play for a bit longer to finish the beetle drive.

Each participant needs to bring three ‘silly’ prizes. We recommend that each prize is worth a very maximum £1 but can be less. You could use items you already have in the house, or make your prizes. The prizes need to be wrapped up.

At the end of the Beetle Drive the prizes are shared out so that each child wins three.
