A full day of home education groups, classes and activities. Come for the day of book individual sessions.

Science 10am - 11am

A science sesison for home educated children, run by science teacher Natalie. Science is all about growing inquisitive and imaginative minds. In these sessions children will take part in interactive practical activities to develop their understanding of basic science, the world around them and how things work. May split in to two 45min groups if numbers allow. We will update everyone if so.

Creative English 11:30am - 12:15pm

Each session we will use a children’s book to explore different areas of English. We could be looking at story writing, poetry, illustration, script writing, comics and maybe just a little bit of grammar.

Art Club 1pm - 2pm

We look at different art techniques, learning different skills and sometimes learning about different artists. These sessions are run by The Place Stamford team.

Maths 2:15pm - 3pm

This group covers topics from GCSE maths, foundation and higher. It does not cover the whole syllabus, but offers a stretch session for KS3 children, or is suitable for GCSE students as an add on to their learning.

This session is £3 for children attending other sessions the same day, or £5 as a stand alone session and can be paid for on the day.

Home Ed Social 2pm - 4pm

During this session we get out a selection of board games, marble run, train track, playdough etc, plus an art and/or craft activity. We organise activities and resources to suit and with input from the children attending each session.
